Our School

Northmead Elementary School has 650 students in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. Our school first opened in September 1922 and is attended by many students whose parents and grandparents attended the school.

First day of school, Aug. 7th

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten Orientation. Aug. 6th at 8:30 AM. Look for a letter in the mail

  • 8:00 AM - 2:40 PM  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM Wednesdays

Gates Hours:

  • 7:30 AM for students to enter on L Street or M Street.
  • Students are supervised while they eat breakfast until 7:50 AM or until the first bell at 7:55 AM. 
  • Gates close at 8 AM.  
  • Northmead Elementary School is a closed campus. Adults are asked to enter through the school office where ID is verified.
